ToteRack (“we,” “us”) is a home storage organizer provided by 530 Studios LLC. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions? Email [email protected].
What we collect
- Account info: your email address, used to sign you in. If you use Sign in with Apple, we receive the identifier Apple provides and, if you allow it, your name and email (which may be a private-relay address).
- Your inventory: the items, totes, racks, locations, notes, and photos you add. This content is yours.
- Purchase info: if you subscribe, purchases are processed by Apple. We receive subscription status (active/expired) from our payments provider, RevenueCat — not your card details.
- Basic technical data: standard server logs (such as request time and app version) needed to run and secure the service.
How we use it
- To provide the app — store your inventory, sync it to your devices, and let you scan, search, and print labels.
- To send you the sign-in codes you request, and reminders you set.
- To operate subscriptions and prevent abuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your inventory content for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to run ToteRack, under their own privacy terms:
- Apple — sign-in and payment processing.
- RevenueCat — subscription management.
- Resend — sending sign-in and reminder emails.
- Anthropic — only if you use “Fill from a photo” to catalogue a tote. That photo is sent to Anthropic’s API to read what is in it, and the suggestions come back to you. It is not used to train their models. If you never use that feature, no photo of yours is ever sent there.
- Our hosting provider, which stores the data that runs the service.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all of its data at any time from Account → Delete account in the app (or by emailing us). Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections, and session tokens are stored only as hashes. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Children
ToteRack is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy; we'll revise the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
